Today we are excited to announce our investment in Kognity, the Stockholm based education technology company founded in 2015 by Hugo Wernhoff and Nicholas Johansson.
Kognity is a digital publisher and learning platform that significantly improves the learning experience. There is a growing need for digital content and platforms and due to Covid the appetite has accelerated.
By targeting an international curriculum, Kognity has established a global school customer base across more than 100 countries. Since their launch they have helped more than a quarter million teachers and students. Alfvén & Didrikson is now investing SEK 165m to assist Kognity’s expansion to state curricula, starting with US high schools.
Maria Åhr and Ken Liebkind have led the work on the investment and will join the company’s Board of Directors.
We look forward to working with the team at Kognity.
